As a teacher of English as a foreign language, I have worked in Japan, Poland and South Korea. I now work at a language school in Oxford. Outside of the classroom, I develop ELT materials, edit an online magazine for students and write fiction. I’m also available for freelance proofreading work.
Before TEFL, I worked in magazine journalism and website production. Before that, I studied Media and Communications at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Like a lot of people who write, I have a novel growing on my computer. I try to feed it daily. As a language learner, I wrestle with Mandarin Chinese. I’ve been building websites since the late 1990s. I also enjoy photography.
I update this blog on a fairly regular basis with posts on language learning, travel, technology and storytelling. For updates, subscribe to the RSS feed or follow me on Twitter.
